There are many important things to consider before your next whitewater rafting adventure. At Smoky Mountain River Rat, it is important to be familiar with a few rules and guidelines before heading towards the rapids. Rafters cannot miss the safety orientation that starts at their scheduled rafting time, so we ask that all guests arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their adventure start time. To ensure safety, everyone in a raft must wear shoes that are secure on the back of the heel. Electronics and other valuables are better left in the car as they will likely get lost or wet on the raft. Please keep these tips in mind for a safe and fun rafting adventure every time!
