As there are only 5 Riverside Cabana Rentals available for rent, we recommend planning to book at least 1 week in advance to ensure you secure your rental. In peak season, these rentals tend to book out. Weekends also tend to book out more quickly.

Location: River Rat Tubing Outpost B in Townsend, TN.

Our cabanas are situated along the Little River at the end of our Outpost B route. Your rental can be accessed by checking in at River Rat Tubing Outpost B, and driving to the back of that adjoining parking lot. You will see a parking area designated only for Cabana Rental visitors.

Adding the “Stocked” option to your rental provides you with:

• A cooler filled with ice and assorted water/sodas
• Towel Service

This is an incredibly convenient amenity for guests that are traveling and do not want to pack or purchase these items in advance, as well as for guests that simply want a more stress-free trip to the mountains.

We recommend you pack all basic essentials for a day on the river:

• Bathing suit and spare dry clothes
• Bug spray and sunscreen
• Water shoes (the riverbed is rocky and slippery)
• Snacks
• Stocked cooler (if you don’t select “Stocked” upgrade)
• Towels (if you don’t select “Stocked” upgrade)

If you don’t want to pack lunch, we share a parking lot with the Burger Master, which offers wonderful sweet treats and great meal options. This restaurant is easily walkable from your cabana.

Note that our Outpost B gift shop offers water shoes, waterproof phone cases, sunscreen and other river gear should you forget anything.

Space is naturally limited, so capacities are set for each cabana to ensure a peaceful, enjoyable experience for all renters. If your guest count exceeds the capacity, you must rent an additional cabana(s) to accommodate the total number in your party.

Example: Standard Cabanas have an 8-person capacity. That means the capacity for renting two Standard cabanas would be 16. 

Upon check-in, guests will receive wristbands that align with the capacity for your rental. Guests not wearing wristbands at the cabanas will be asked to leave the grounds.

As a result of past capacity violations, a conditional fee is now in place. If capacity is exceeded, a $150 fee will be charged to the purchaser’s card.

Yes! Your furry friend is welcome at our cabana rentals. 

Note that they must be well-behaved, friendly toward other pets and people, and must remain on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog when they use the restroom. Pets are not allowed on the furniture.

Outpost B has both changing rooms and restrooms available for your use, whether you rent a cabana on its own or you choose to tube with us as well.
